Default Seatbelt not connected warning not working

Hi all,

My seat belt warning is no longer sounding. So when I start driving, if the seatbelt is not connected, the warning no longer sounds. I take it this is something in the seat that is not working and not the seatbelt buckle. Some time ago I did have a problem with the actual seatbelt buckle in that it gave an SRS warning – fixed this by disconnecting the cable from the buckles where it connected to a box below the driver seat. When I re connected it, and gave the cable a wiggle, the SRS warning could be cleared by Vida/dice. SRS warning lamp is on again.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers

Sounds like loose pins / bad contacts

Ensure the connectors pins are clean - use contact cleaner spray

Ensure the pins are mating tightly, increase tension slightly as required using usual methods
