FS: Bilstein and Spax rear dampers/shocks
20231202_134136 by crogthomas, on Flickr
The Bilsteins are stamped 7511073H000 on the body. I can't find any reference to that part number anywhere, so it's possible that is only the part number of the metal tube. The paper sticker is completely unreadable unfortunately. They were fitted to a 940 though. Barely used. £35 posted. The Spax dampers don't have any numbers on them at all. Stiffer than the Bilsteins. They were fitted to a 940 Sport with it's slightly stiffer springs. Used with a little corrosion around the bottom of the body as can be seen. £35 posted. |

No idea. I bought them used and put a few hundred miles on them before trying the Spax.

I really can't remember. The Bilsteins were used with 940 'Sport' springs, which are slightly lower and stiffer than standard 940.
The Spax dampers are definitely stiffer though. I have run them on a damper dyno. |
