Hi, not good with computers, born in 1950!! Not long bought a volvo v50 2012
1.6 diesel drive, it,s got 400k on the clock, it,s been fine, had to change one injector and a drive shaft, but now it,s behaving badly hard to pull away almost as if it,s got a flat spot, i,ve checked the gate valve, not stuck, I,m thinking of changing the engine(second hand one) but what engine is it? a peugeot, a ford?
will a focus fit? Any info will be appreciated(not spelling corrections please) I,m reasonably happy with the car,and can,t really afford to change it anyway so make and mend it is, Thanks in advance!!

Fuel filter caused me a lot of grief. Could it be a fuel flow problem?🤔

There’s a lot of cheap runabouts around these days for less tha than the cost of engine purchase and transplant!

can have a car or engine gratis! but v50.s being a rarity I was looking for an alternative donor, a ford focus possibly? but wondered what engine is actually in the car ,it looks like a peugeot i,ll just keep asking around someone will know, again thanks for your input.
