In the UK on pre-2000 cars, there are only two tax rates, under 1500cc and over. On the over, it's £23.62/month so that would include yours as well as mine and Marks and pretty much anyone else with a 7/9xx. From 2001 onwards, it gets incredibly confusing with several different tax bands depending on emissions, fuel, size etc Unleaded (normal 95 octane) is currently ~£1.30/L and LPG ~60-70p/L and i'm confused as to why you have to pay higher tax on LPG than on petrol. Is the lower price of LPG depriving the govt of so much revenue they have to claw it back another way?
