Default What's it for?

There's a button/switch on the rear face of the centre console of step daughters C70.It's at the side of the rear cigarette lighter has an icon on it the design of which I don't recall seeing on any other switch before. When you push it a little red light illuminates but nothing seems to happen,so what does it do,whatis it for? Car is a 2001 convertible if that makes a difference. Please help it's annoying the heck out of me not knowing what it does

Just a guess, rear seated seats? being small seats it may only have one switch for both seats.
