Default Midlands Volvo recommendations

Hi,

Not sure if this is in the right section so apologies if it's not.

I'm looking to have some paint & mechanical work carried out on my 850 that's been stood gathering dust for too long. So I'm after recommendations for a Volvo specialist ideally around the Midlands area but will happily travel further for a higher recommended garage. I'd like people's own personal reviews and experiences good or bad.

From a quick look online I've found GRN motors, CP motors & some others locally & would love to hear any experience people have shared when using these.
Really appreciate any help and it will help get another Volvo back on the road

Cheers Chris

I have found CP Motors very helpful, genuine and honest.

I’ve used GRN in the past and they did some good work on my S60 plus picking it up and dropping it off at my place of work. Give em a whirl

Thanks for your replies, I shall definitely be giving them a call to discuss what I need. It's always good to hear people's experiences as I'm apprehensive about alot of garages these days as the service just seems terrible.

Since my service plan ended with Volvo, and then my aux belts and tensioners going and volvo wanting stupid money for that and cam belt doing.

I took my car to:

https://www.squireautomotive.co.uk/

Great service, good prices and they use genuine Volvo parts.
