Default FRF big thumbs up again

I ordered a timing belt kit and aux belt & tensioner from FRF today and received great service and great discount as usual with some good advice to boot, not particularly good though.
I have to have a modified tensioner which they tell me may not be very cheap to complete due to drilling & tapping the block. As it has full dealer history, I am kinda praying it had already been completed. Will call tomorrow with my fingers tightly crossed.

Big relief, it has been completed so no remedial work to the block.
Parts have arrived from FRF so just need it booking in for the belts and tensioner changes.
It has been sat on the drive since I bought it as I dare not drive it until they are done so it will just be a few miles to my local specialist and I can then relax. I may be over reacting but the potential for the belt to wrap itself around the timing belt is not a risk I want to take.
The service department at Bell Volvo were very quick to point out that this was not a recall to change the hydraulic tensioner to the older version and that the goodwill offer to do the work had ended late last year, I wonder how many are out there without this work being done

Look in the trader section near the top, they are a main dealer in Swansea. You need to call them and quote C3 for the discount, no point in adding to the thread as you won't get a reply, just use it for praise
