Seat weight ?

Not been on in a while but still have same issue with my '09 Active XC90, poor quality seats and split, half leather (allegedly) half cloth. Found a drivers seat other end of country and willing to pay to ship it , but guys says no idea on weight, why he can't weight it I don't know, anyone know roughly , or where I can find out what they weigh so I can get a shipping quote. Also, it is possible to get the seat covers off ( passenger seat back cover) and replace, easily that is ? or is it a no no..

any advice appreciated..

The weight depends on many factors, for example it's with heating/airbags/etc.

BMW 5 series front seat weights 27-30kg

Where that seat is located? Could help a bit if will be around. Usually not doing trips so far North, but could bring it closer to you, with help of luck.

thanks but it's Brigwater, Taunton so shipping it is. Happy to pay for shipping just not the 2 seats if shipping pricey. Guy has a drivers seat (I defo need) and passenger seat (which his base is torn) that I could have used if it's easy to get the back (upright, whatever it's called) cover off as the rear of my passenger seat has a tear and thats all I need his passenger seat for.

LoL, I delivered few excavators from Netherlands to Tiverton (South of Taunton) today morning. If I know it yesterday could arrange collection, as coming back home empty...
