Cool Looking for the best battery for S60 2.0T 2003

hi folks,

if anyone know where (possible on-line) I'd be able to buy NEW battery for my S60 2.0T 2003 manual saloon ... I'll be appreciated for tips/hints,.

my 7 years old battery just died and that accident left me with no choice ... replaced my nearly new Varta battery from Audi to put into the Volvo.

Now car works like brand new and I was just wondering WTF is the lifetime for such batteries like my old original Volvo batter (don't remember the params),.

Any advises highly appreciated as I'm actively looking for the brand new battery for my Volvo ... still driving on Varta from Audi A4 B5,.

Cheers

Jerry

If you're going to keep the car for a long time I'd go with Hoppecke. Had one in my wifes car for 10 years and it is still going strong. They're not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Varta is also a very good battery.

can you please tell me where for example can I buy such one ?
I'd like to buy the volvo genuine one, but have no clue where
the Varta E13 640 I've put into the S60 working perfectly but it's 1 year old and I do believe the next 3 years would work quite well,.

Thanks guys for all your effort and replies, all your experiences are really valuable for me and I do appreciated them a lot !

Cheers and thx. for keeping the post going,.

thx mate ... still there's one unresolved issue on my case

I'm looking for a good electrician in London (area) who might have a look on my SCM module systems, as it seems my (common topic "Alarm System Service Required") dash getting popped up every time I'm starting-up my car,. The battery replacement didn't help so ...

I need some specialist to look at this and take care about all of this for me,.

is there anyone who might be able to help ?

I've always gone for Volvo batteries. They have always lasted as long as I've owned the cars and without fault.

Try contacting Rufe on here. He can get a good deal on Volvo bits
