Default Cold weather

one to ponder. 185 bhp euro 4. Hates the cold. runs in limp home some times in near zero or below, however once outside temp has warmed up runs fine. Will put engine system service up in the cold temps.
Only have a generic reader as I'm more Landrover based. This comes up with a Maf problem. Engine does not change if the maf plug is pulled, so wonder if this is likely to be my starting point.
Or is there anyone near Horsham or Worthing that could plug in for me please
Tia

this was one of the billion things I've ordered on Amazon in the last few months

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

it cleaned my sensor up lovely, leaves no residue. surely worth a punt if your MAF is throwing up errors. have you had it out and looked if it is dirty?

yet another +1 for the A1auto lady: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f6PRmGzF5AM
