i myself have reported probably 20+ drivers for drink driving, i have even followed them whilst on the phone to police (hands free off course).
I am waiting for the one where they are not on hands free and reporting a crime...would be very harsh to but hmm.

Wy did you not report the accident? Why did you not report him for suspicion of drink driving? And last but certainly not least, why didn't you call for medical attention? If he did in fact fracture his skull he may not have woken up to read this....think about it!
the bar maid from the pub came to his aid, why should i get involved when i had somewhere important to go to . so get off your high horse matey

Not on my high horse at all but if you had time to video and take pictures you had time to make a phone call.....whilst on you way to 'somewhere important' ....which would have been quicker for you as you would not have had to wait around making videos.

I am not the only one who suggested you should have reported it, it seems to be the vast majority here that agree. I think you need to review your moral judgement somewhat

The reason i ask this is because a few years ago i saw an accident and assumed the same thing, the bloke was staggering all over the place, sluring his words and generaly being a ****. Turned out he was diabetic and was having a fit, so dont be so quick to judge and condem this bloke.

Just a thought
Good point but, the Rozzers are there to assist and protect us, the public and that includes people who have just crashed their car and are staggering around, for whatever reason.
They really should have been contacted.

Hi Ninja

Yes you are correct. I remember in my youth and party days, I had one or two arguments (understatement..!!) with my father because he would not let me take the car if I was going 'up town on the p155' and wanted to sleep in the car afterwards. Couldn't understand it at the time, although the arguments were worth it with hindsight!!

Regards

You are however wrong, i was videoing a man who reversed into a tenament wall, i know the people on the top floor, evidence, in case of damage,
in the course of 15 seconds it became apparent that he was drunk, and then he smacked the ground.
within 10 seconds of that happening the barmaid was by his side.

So go and troll someone else,
it takes over 40 seconds to dial and get connected to the police here.

the last time i intervened in a similar situation i had a knife pulled on me ,
Why dont you take your attitude and stick it, as far as i am concerned he could reap what he sowed and die on the pavement.
And anyone who has lost a loved one at the hands of one of these morons will agree with me, whether they care to admit it or not.

Hmmm.. I think by the nature of your reply you are the one with attitude.

I do have to laugh at your last statement though

as this raises the question further as to why you felt it unnecessary to report the individual, or moron as you like to put it, for being allegedly under the influence of alcohol as this could prevent him from doing it again and possibly killing someone next time.

If you really though he should reap what he deserves then maybe you would have contacted the authorities instead of, as you put it

Oh and just because I find your arguments and reasoning flawed does not make me a troll or a better person or anything other than someone with a differing opinion.

It is refreshing to see somebody else on this forum treating and indeed using it the way it was intended.
A means of offering opinions and advice in a concise and polite manner.
Well said that man
