Default 2005 1.8 S40 randomly jerking when driving

So I love my S40 when it's behaving, had a few issues that I've managed to resolve, however the latest has me stumped.

Very occasionally and very randomly when driving my car jerks/hiccups, doesn't appear to matter what speed I'm going or what gear I'm in, I can seem to see any pattern to it whatsoever.

Occasionally with the jolt my dash lights will flash up then go, which leads me to believe its an electrical issue rather than mechanical, and it doesn't totally feel like a mechanical issue if that makes sense

Got no codes showing.
Had CEM out and cleaned
Checked fuses and all observable wiring in engine bay
Checked plugs and coils
Battery voltage is 12.7

Any thoughts on what the issue might be or where else to focus my attention.

My first thought would be to check the air filter to make sure its getting enough air. lights coming on could be as a result of a mechanical issue.

Thanks andyv40turbo I'll have a look at the air filter, might also run my eye over the throttle body as well see if its sticking or acting weirdly

I see 1.8 so is that petrol engine. Then also spark plugs, they diminish over time so might be getting towards end of there life. Both easy and (relatively) cheap to replace and if I have lead you on a goose chase at least you know it cant be those

Thanks again, I think I'm just going to do sparks and coils anyway, they'll need doing soon enough anyway
