Oh learned and experienced ones. . .
Can someone please tell me which service intervals have things like belt changes ,plug changes or other nasty surprises.
My V70 was stolen a week after I shelled out for the 90k mile service and my biggest gripe is that they didn't get it a week earlier. . .I am now looking at an 03 XC90 with 42k on the clock. The book hasn't been stamped since July/04 but the dealer has promised to print out the service history. I'd like to know that the next service isn't a monster or if it is, get this reflected in the price. Obviously, if it falls in my approved used 1 year warranty period I will have to get it done at a main stealer. . .One Volvo crime/year is enough. . .
Thanx

Thumbs up The big ones

Hi there Banj,
Assuming it's a D5 - the next service I think should be at 48k which was when I had mine last done according to the 12k interval schedule (2004 D5).
This was just a routine service parts and labour wise - still a wincing £350 at main dealer though.
I must admit I'm not sure when the big one is - I think it's at 90k like the others - I'd appreciate a tip off too if someone can help here.

If it's on 18" rims - check the tyres for wear as they don't last that long either.....could be another bargaining point.

Cheers
Ian.
