Default Windscreen washer jets

Has anyone tried to adjust these jets? 2 of mine were shooting at strange angles and needed adjusting so I got out the pin as I would normally do on a car only to realise that they are so far under the bonnet that the traditional method wasn't going to work

I then realised that removing the jets is actually very simple and that is what I did - open the bonnet and gently pull the jet assembly, it oops out and you can then adjust the jets easily -and you pop them back in.

The only downside is having repeat tge open bonnet, including jet assembly, replace and close the bonnet a few times to get the jets in the right place - but by doing it this way you can adjust them

The water flow is pathetic compared to the flow the Saab 95 used to deliver, I guess the XC60 has prostate problems.

Default My experience....

As long as you're prepared to tolerate a little cramp in the wrist it is possible to do in situ...the biggest problem I had was eyesight resolving where to stick the pin!!

Not sure what the score is with your flow...mine is all I could ever need to flood the windscreen. Sure you've not got a kink somewhere?

Given that all jets are giving a feeble flow the kink will be upstream of where the pipes to each jet occur.
Any suggestions as to where to look for a kink.

The water used is aqua Portsmouth Water Company with a bit of windscreen washer ingredient.

As another former Saab owner I can concur the Saab's 6 high pressure washer jets were much better! Of course this meant you had to fill the reservoir more often though...

The Saab's high pressure windscreen wash was a gentle way of letting following cars that were sniffing my exhaust fumes that I considered them to be too close to me. Invariably they would pull back a bit.
