960 Auto Est 1992 Spares or Repair
This car is complete except for the power steering pump and high pressure pipe, and a/c radiator
The whole can can be had for a £150 ONO or all the bits individually It is not the best example, that is why it is going. All the body panels are in excellent condition - no rust. Some bits of exterior trim flap about and the interior is OK except the drivers seat that has come away along the bottom right side, where it tucks under It has a set of 16 inch mag alloys and good tyres Until a few weeks ago it was driven all the time without a problem, has been very good to me over the past 8 years. If you are interested please be quick, I have offered bits of the car to others asking in the 'Wants' Will supply pics as soon as the weather improves Call me 01952 414411, I am in Telford Greg |

If it's a 3ltr and you do brake it. I would be interested in the air flow meter please.

Hi Greg,
I have a 1996 960 Auto Estate 3L 6 cylinder that is great apart from a persistent water leak. Has had brand new Volvo cylinder head but still leaking, may be a crack in the block. Love the car & don't want to part (only 175,000) - family connections. If you still have the engine what is it like, as I'm considering a replacement to keep the car? Best wishes, David ("Haileybus") |

Quote:
With your cylinder head and my engine you will have a fine engine I had been using my car for 9 years up to a few weeks ago never given any trouble. There is an intermittent tapping from one of the hydraulic tappets, other than that the engine seem OK. I only do about 3,000 miles per year and it has a yearly oil/filter change and maybe a spark plug clean/change occasionally. The car is no longer drivable, but it still starts and rolls, too many bits have been removed, and there are a few more bits promised to some on the forum. If you want the engine you need the remainder of the car to get it back to your place, or can you remove it on site? Would you like to come over and have a look Greg
