Default Xc60 saved my life today

Wrote off my xc.60 today. Thank God I was in a Volvo. Swerved to avoid lorry in fast lane on at 70. Went into back of a van at about 40. Walked away without a scratch

Volvo for life...I suspect that's why many of us drive them.

Very glad to hear you escaped unscathed!

Let's just hope there's another to replace it on my company car list when the insurance is sorted.

The police said the Volvo safety helped.

An early example of volvo's future philosophy which states that :
"by 2020 no one will be killed or seriously injured in one of their cars ." hopefully that's why you chose one ...

Glad to hear you were unscathed. Was that the accident which blocked the A1 near Durham ?

How is the van driver ?

Have you injured him/her, put him out of business, damaged his income ?

Did you witness the incident? Or do you have access to the motorway CCTV?

If not, how do you know what really happened?

Your car did its job, that's why we have them. Glad you're okay (and that goes for everyone involved, of course). Cars are replaceable
