2nd row headrest release repair
Hi, can anyone help please with my 2006 (pre facelift) XC90. I have searched the forum but found nothing.
The head rest release fabric loop on the second row of seats has become detached, meaning I can not fold one of the headrests. I have had a look and can remove the plastic trim at the top of the seat and can see that a white release cord has snapped and there is just a short piece protruding. I intend to repair it, but will need to remove the back of the seat for access . The seat back looks like a moulded piece and I presume it just clips in place, but before I resort to brute force, is there any special way of removing them, where are the clips and where are the hooks (if any), are there any hidden screws etc. If anyone has removed a second row seat back please can you advise? Thank you
