Default Vac operated component

Hi there, can anyone identify the component in this video that is making that chattering noise? Its caused by the valve on the vac pump failing and not pulling enough vac to hold this part open or closed which ever it is. I've had the valve changed and it no longer chatters when idling but still does when throttling off once engine has reached operating temp. I'm wondering if this part needs changing also but I have no idea what it is or what it does.
Its on a XC60 2011 D5 215hp auto awd.
Can anyone help??
