740/940 saloon central seat belt

Hi,

As above I’m after a centre seatbelt from a 740/940 saloon car as I belt hey are different to estate models.

Please send me a message if you have one.

Hi, Andy, I think that you may well find that they also differ between 7 and 9 series saloons. It may depend on the year, and they may or may not be interchangeable, but all of our 740s just had a centre lap strap, while my 940 was fitted with an OE 3-point lap and diagonal belt.

I'll attempt to get my earlier post deleted, 'griston64', but could you please say why? I was only trying to help the O.P. by alerting him to something of which I thought he may be unaware and possibly obtaining an incorrect part. Sorry if I have unintentionally done something wrong!

Apologies John but I was meaning I had deleted my post. I was getting confused with the front seatbelt and posted the wrong info.

Thanks for the info John, I did think the 940 ones were different.

So it’s a 740 lap belt I’m after if anyone has something.
