Can you put the turbo from b23ft onto the d24t. will you get anymore power?

I think that is a bad idea it would take forever to spool that turbo, I would go for a vnt 17 or similar you will get more low end tourqe and probably more peak power I know people who have used a k14 from the 5 cyl 2,5 tdi v70 with succes... also 1,4 bar(20 psi) of boost is apparently(not first hand info though) the limit for when the turbo just starts to work aginst the engine...
The real gains in power comes with modifying the injection pump.

If you can get hold of the parts the intercooler/turbo/pump from a D24tic would be a proven way of getting more power.(125 bhp I think and more low end torque) I don't think I'd mess about with different turbos given the d24's potential for head problems
