Not all error codes in VIDA mean the device is bad

The device reported something bad, but it might be OK
As in your case: there was likely no need to replace the MAF.

Check all your intake system for cracks and leaks.
You likely have an air leak.

A smoke test will help

Google "smoke test intake" and that will give you some ideas.

You can get "smoke matches" https://www.toolstation.com/smoke-matches/p50805

They give off smoke that you can hold near the suspect pipes to see if the smoke is sucked in through the crack/split.

Cheers

Dave

Seal off the air intake at the output of the airfilter box using a plastic bag over the pipe.

Disconnect a vacuum line and connect a smoke generTor to the line

Let the intake system get full of smoke.

Look for leaks.
