injector reconditioning
Anyone recommend a cost effective firm for injector reconditioning? West Midlands preferred. Or is there a Bosch main agent anywhere that does mail order?
I seem to remember Peter Milnes saying on the website that Bosch Agents were offering a good discount on this. However I have tried every listed Bosch agent in the area listed on the Bosch site and they all do only commercials - nothing so small as our cars even though the engines were used in the VW transporter. One chap said that he suspected Bosch lists everyone with an account! Eurocarparts does them but at a hefty price - in any case I would rather go to someone recommended. Regards JOhn

I've seen recommendations for Watson diesel, however they are in Wimbledon so it would require the post. I was not in a rush and bought a set from Tom Bryant who probably has so many that he would not need you to exchange.

Hi John,
When I worked in Stoke, I used this company for a number of diesel jobs. I have to say they were brilliant, they are a real traditional comapny. I would recommend a trip to their shop, it's like stepping back in time. http://www.gwdale.co.uk/ Hope this helps, Cheers, Richard Ex-Walsall, now in Dublin. Got on the wrong bus....a long story!!...ha ha |

Last August this company told me they would charge about a tenner each to recon my D24Tic injectors, so might be worth a ring to see if they will do it by mail -
