1996 940 Transmission Selector Indicator
Can anyone help with some advice, because I've totally cocked things up,
Whilst trying to sort out the bulb that lights up the auto transmission shifter, firstly I tried to get the gear indicator panel up past the gear knob, needless to say I cracked/broke it, I have now bought a replacement, but how do you get it over the gear knob to replace it, I don't want to break this one, Secondly the little black plastic strip that shows a light as to what gear your in has come out, I can see it just slides back in at each end of the strip, but can anyone tell me what the slotted peg is for, I can't see anything on the side of the gear stick that it locates into, so what actually moves it when selecting a gear.
