Default Fault codes need to be read on v70 1997.

Does anyone have vol-fcr in the welwyn/Waltham abbey area.? I have the eml on now and although running is fine and fuel consumption is ok I need to get this fixed. Regards

You may well find that a generic fault code reader will work on your car - I say this as mine is also a V70 1997 (with cable throttle) and my Autel Maxiscan works fine, in fact I diagnosed a faulty cam sensor with it only last weekend.

Unfortunately you're not near me (I'm near Gatwick) otherwise you'd be welcome to pop round and try my scanner.

Cheers!

Dan

Willing to help out with my VCR in exchange for possible future help re sunroof replacement !

I am Forest Gate, no plans to get the pike gear and head up to Fishers at the mo I'm 😳.

Surprised PnUtt did not predict the fault for you as he did me - my EML came in Christmas morning after I hit a pothole in the M11. From this description the genius predicted barometric pressure sensor and he was bang on the money !
