XC60 D5 2009 help!
Hi all
I’m new on here and a new owner of an XC60 2009 D5 Do love it, But had a few problems so far. Engine warning light came on after I filled up with oil.. I read that it may be because I fill it up to the max, and meant to be 3/4? Anyway so today I’ve done an oil and filter change. I also removed the throttle body to clear out the enormous amounts of crud and soot. I’ve also cleaned out the egr But my question is , and I’m sure it’s been covered before but can’t seem to find the answer.. surly the inside of the inlet manifold needs cleaning? I’ve found videos on how to remove it fully, but I want to know how to open it? As in take the lid off. Is this what you guys have done to clean out inside? Am I right in thinking I need to do this? The pipe from the egr was chocka as well I also noticed it was also missing the swirl flaps arm linkage thing. So got a new one ordered in. I can’t seem to get this to clip on and stay on the big ball flaps side. Is there a trick to it? I can’t see how it would stay on? Any thoughts on that!? Another problem we’ve had is the leaking windscreen.., I bought the car in the hot weather we’ve had lately so didn’t know about it. I’ve got some tolleys sealer on order and hope that fixes it. My local windscreen place quoted 120 to remove and reseal. Anyway. We still really like the Volvo, it feels great to be driving such a beast! I look forward to picking peoples brains and getting loads of info from the forum! Cheers guys |
