Again an ABS intervention but for the first time no 1500 rpm idle!

High idle is often caused by an air leak on the induction side

If that is the case than it should high idle always
This is specific abs related

Besides its a diesel wich is pretty immune for airleaks influence idle rpm because the air excesse is massive at idle anyway

That it is abs related is no rocketscience regarding the moments it comes/came up
What it exactly activates nobody knows
If you google on this problem only some old mercedes have it also combined with abs faults/lights

Airleaks with gasoline engines influences idle rpm's but not only when your abs is used once a year that will be always until the leak is repaired
Here are the rpms raised for an electronic abs reason/input

You dont need to be offended

Hi, I've recently acquired a 2.4D V70 (Euro4) and had exactly the same problem on the motorway after braking hard - the cruise control also stopped working. After being parked overnight it was fine and still is. I'm convinced it's linked to the heavy braking. Haven't attempted to read the codes yet. Regards.

I was just pointing out it was not a gasoline but a diesel
Maybe you could learn also something about diesels and airleaks and their airexcess not influencing ilde rpm like gasoline
Pitty your not interested and openminded for clarifications you overlooked
