Good too see that this thread is still active. I haven't been here for a while. My 460GS is still going. Just passed its MOT. A number of issues have cropped up, it has a starting problem (faulty relay i believe) and the rust on the arches is getting pretty bad now.
Anyone have experience with getting the arches replaced? and whether its worth the cost? |

It depends on how you define "worth the cost".
If it's "just a car", it's almost certainly not worth it - buy another, or upgrade to an S40. If you have an attachment to the car, only you can answer whether or not it's worth it. What you can't really do is ignore it - it's part of the body structure, so will spread into less desirable areas in time (unlikely, say, a door, which is "isolated"). The sooner you get it sorted out, the better... cheers James
