Default V70 P2 Aero roof bars.

Anyone know if bars from other models, perhaps of similar age, will fit a '04 P2? I'm preferring Volvo original Aero Bars, perhaps they won't sing as much as non OEM square bars? And Thule maybe might do. I'm thinking getting a roof box...
At guess XC 70, but not sure about others! Platform 2 family?

I got aero roof bars for the V70 from eBay years ago - can't remember the exact seller now but there are lots on there that look pretty much identical. Mine were made in Turkey if I remember correctly, for what it's worth...

In my opinion they look better than the "genuine" items and have been as quiet as roof bars can be - great value for money all round and have stood up well to the years of exposure to the salty air around here.

Edit - look very similar to these: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/113991957551

I've got these ones

https://www.micksgarage.com/g/roof-r...e-2-100-136-cm

they whistle a bit when you get up to motorway/fast A-road speeds but they all do that a bit I suppose

Thule ones probably are more 'aero' and quieter but they're also too expensive for what they are

you can mitigate any annoyance from noise by simply taking them off (and improving mpg) when not actually being used, it takes all of 5 minutes even if you really take your time (admittedly maybe a little more awkward if you have a box attached)

I recently picked up some genuine Volvo branded wingbars from eBay which are actually Thule bars with Volvo branding. If it's to fit raised roof rails the Thule 757 feet fit my 2004 V70. The length of the wing bars can be either 127cm or 135cm I use both depending on what I'm putting on the roof.
Always plenty on eBay, good hunting.
Edit. Just to clarify the 757 feet are for bars that fit above the rails not between.
