Ta for that - I'll check out the earths but I'm getting a good 12v all the way down through all the connectors. I've connected up to the ignition source at the 12v socket and that's okay.

I hope it's not a dead kit, I bought it off ebay unused - all still wrapped up, just my luck to get a dead one.

I'm in Chester so will get someone around here to take a look at it if I can.

Thanks for the help

Rich

Contact the seller to tell him it's faulty. Did you pay through paypal?

They start at about £85 on Amazon.

I've got the power issue sorted and it all seems to fire up the correct way and says goodbye when powering down. The problem is now that the audio is always on mute when the parrot is powered up. When I make a call the recipient can hear me but also can hear the radio, in turn, I can't hear them!

The radio can be heard by me for a few seconds when I'm scrolling through the menu's on the parrot though?

Now I'm confused.....

Any more ideas welcome.

Cheers

Rich

The main connection point for the kit is the amp in the boot, which sits behind the panel on the LH side of the car as you're looking into it. You'll need a telemute kit from autoleads, which one you need depends on which stereo you have fitted, this plugs straight into the existing sockets on the amp - it requires a bit of disassembly of the boot area and some routing through the car to get it in but works well.

Have a look on autoleads site for what you need or get in touch with someone like Sio, http://www.siocommunications.co.uk/, whos hould be able to sell you the right kit.
