Default 1972 Volvo 144 2ltr 11 months MOT

1972 Volvo 144 classic

Tax exempt
MOT 11 months

£2500

Zero Seven 7 Sixty-nine Sizty-nine 77 eighty-seven

I am the 4th owner. I bought the car July 2012, as a birthday present to myself. I'd never forget the attention it got driving through Piccadilly Circus on a saturday afternoon.

1st owner had the car for 28 years from new. 2nd owner owned it for 11 years and 3rd owner had it for 4 years. I have a shoe box of receipts and histories.

The old girl is perfectly usable as an everyday car. I travel around the country for work and done many long motorway trips and she always behave impeccably. Cruising effortlessly at 60 mph and the seats are super comfortable.

During my ownership, I have replaced the clutch and new set of refurbished front brake calipers.

The body work is good for its age. There is a small paint chip on the boot. Although it wasn't picked up by the MOT, there is some rust bubbling from the near side rear sill.

I have really enjoyed owning this 144 but I have to sell her to free up parking space.

The car is in Bracknell, about 15 mins from M4 Junction 10, or M3 Junction 3.
