Default s40 rear window led brake light change

Hi...I have noticed that the rear brake light in the rear window is not working....from reading a few comments it seems it is LED and will need a new unit.
Does the headlining need to be dropped and if so how do those blasted 3 bucket clips remove at the rear of the head lining please.....

I've worked out the clips twist and pull out but it seems their not enough clearance to get at it, do I have to drop the full headlining surely someone on this forum has messed with the third brake light.

Have you consulted YouTube? A lot of people mock it, but with some technical knowledge, YouTube can be very informative and helpful.

Good luck with the search and fix.

Update it's now working I suspect a bad connection or faulty light, after trawling the net on how this blasted light is removed the only thing I can find is on swedespeed and it says remove the three plastic plugs and pull the lining back hmmm.

Update for all.........
You release the three clips at the rear of the headling by twisting 90degs and then lay the seats down and slightly pull down the head lining and squeeze the green plug at the rear and disconnect, then gently grab the black housing and pull it off of the hot glue tabs and fit in the reverse and use hot glue or anything at hand to stick it back in place.
What a stupid arse about.
