Just received the recall notice in this morning’s post for the struts. Looks like Volvo is taking it pretty seriously.

There is an International recall. They are just short on spare parts and it takes time to arrive to the dealerships

Same I got the recall letter this morning. XC60 T8 Inscrip Pro MY19

In my letter (UK) they said they were still working on a final design for the parts?

What did yours say?

"The new version [of the strut] has just been put into production, and we are giving top priority to securing sufficient stocks as quickly as possible, so that we are able to carry out the repairs on all affected cars. We will send you another letter as soon as we are in a position to rectify your car."

I won't hold my breath.

I took delivery of my XC60 on Saturday.

Obviously I wouldn't have received a letter yet but when I put it though the UK recall checker at https://www.volvocars.com/uk/own/mai...rranty/recalls it says "No Oustanding Recalls".

Is it showing up for anyone else?

(BTW the link doesn't seem to work for me in Chrome, it does in IE)

Thanks, wouldn't work in Chrome for me either. Just tried it in Firefox and that works.

I took my Xc60 My18.5 in for some work yesterday and upon collection was made aware it was due for a recall to replace the struts and they had completed this work on my visit.

Just had my struts replaced this morning under the recall.

Was told at the dealership that it will be a gradual / soft recall as it is not safety critical issue and Volvo do not have sufficient replacement struts at the moment to action all cars under the recall.

Default Strut recall completed

Had my recall work done yesterday. First I had heard of it. Have been told I can now ignore the recall letter.

Received my recall letter this morning.

My XC60 is coming up to its second service so I will try and get the recall work done at the same time.
