Booked in for 25 February to have the struts replaced - takes around an hour apparently.

Going to test drive a T5 XC60 whilst the work is being done - looking ahead to later in the year when the lease on current car ends. It seems that petrol is the way forward now - monthly lease prices are definitely favourable for petrol models at the moment and I only do around 5,500 miles a year now so additional fuel costs won’t be too excessive.

If it's not showing up on my Recalls VIN search does that mean 1)it doesn't need doing and/or fixed already or 2) they haven't updated the search page.

Given my car is so new maybe they're now installing the updated version at factory build?

AFAIK it's not a recall but "service action" - so I think it won't show on a recall search..

Finally got mine changed yesterday. 20 minute job. New ones seems lot more solid. Noise and speed of operation is the same. Slight visual difference, as there are no plastic covers, but only solid black metal.

I got the letter about the recall, but no follow up letter as yet. Has anyone else been notified to bring their car in for replacement struts?

I got the letter way back but have heard nothing since. My car is due a service this week and I was told, when booking it, that the struts will be done while it's in the workshop.
