Default 15MY XC70 - New tyre

The car has done under 6k and there's a nail in the sidewall, so I need a new tyre. I have heard mutterings about single tyre replacements causing issues with the diffs, but I assume this replies to massive disparities in wear. Does anyone have any details of the issue so I can check this will be OK? It's rather boring on such a new car but not the end of the world if it's just one tyre.

6000 Miles there won't be significant tyre wear to be a problem,

Saying that the newer haldex units are alot less troublesome with tyre wear anyway

no , the system is not sensitive to unequal tyre wear , The Haldex system came out around 12 years ago and cured that one .
