>Networkguy,
> >"looking at a BMW B10 .... mmmmmmm ....", I can only assume >you have been out too long in the midday sun ... or are >drunk ! I have never been a BMW fan although it does look very good on paper but the wife would kill me if I spent that sort of money on a new car. Book yourself a test drive in a Volvo D5 ... >MMMMMMMMM ! I had one as a loaner a few weeks back (V70 D5) and it was fantastic. It's going to be at least another 12 months before I change (I used to change cars every 12 months until I bought my current S70 but I just don't want to part with this car) and as I hear the pitter patter of Networkguy Junior on his way, a new car this year is well out of the window. |

Networkguy,
Congratulations ! I'm sure you've got advice coming out of your ears but everything they say about sleep is true - start catching up now ! life will never be quite the same ever again ... our first is one in a few weeks - beware, it goes v quickly ! You WILL need an estate .... My boss has just got himself a brand new V70 D5 ... I fear its probably quicker and more refined than my own tired 94 T5 estate :-( All the best Dr D |

>RE: The tyres, you should check out Michelin Pilots, Simon
>Linton is running them with excellent results, and good >milage. Also - I'm running Avon ZZ3s which are a new tyre, >maybe a bit soft for your milage requirements, but very very >grippy, and good value at less than £100 quid even for the >"R" tyres. When you (kinda) say they don't last long, what sort of mileage do you expect... I'm used to bike tyres, so if they last more than 2000miles I'm happy! |
