Performance v economy.
I have extensively modified my '96 S70 T5 with virtually all the performance parts that I sell plus some other items such as a 'piggy back' programmable ECU, polished & ported head, larger turbo and so on.
I get interesting consumption figures.... 8.5mpg on a track where throttle is open most of the time. 28.5mpg on the road with a mixture of motorway & urban roads, driving safely but keeping up a good pace. Some members of the Performance Section and a few of my customers are going to Power Engineering in Arundel Road Uxbridge tomorrow (saturday 29th), they will run any Volvo on either their 2 or 4wd rolling road for £35 (a great reduction on their usual prices) I am providing tea & cakes and Power Eng. bacon sandwiches. I will have a display of my products, which may interest some who have little interest in increased performance, but an interest in economy! Don Norchi phone 020 8908 6030 email don@kalmar-union.com
