Default Soft tops, how the hell do you clean them?

I have recently bought a C70 convertible, love the car, shame about the weather. Could anyone advise on how to clean the roof what materials to use. Do I need to proof it on a regular basis?

I have look at Renovo products, but a bit nervous about using them.

Any advice would be helpful.

Regards

Robin

Ditto. Superb car. Have only cleaned it so far with washing-up liquid - which has been OK.

I all depends on what material your roof is made out of, and what colour it is. For anything other than black I would go with the washing up liquid. I've been using this for 3 years with a mohair hood and it still looks great!
