How difficult would it be to retrofit ABS brakes?

Default RE: ABS brakes

You need to be a dab hand at hydraulics for a start (all that pipe bending) and to source the various brackets. Then you need the wiring loom to suit the ABS CU and the ABS unit. You will also need the mounting brackets for the unit and CU. You may need the front wheel sensor toothed wheels and the sensors and you will need to wire in the rear sensor which is the speedo sensor. Having got that you should have a working ABS system. It is possible with care to remove the necessary equipment from a wrecked car at a scrapyard, or obtain parts from a second hand parts dealer.

All the best, Peter.
