I want my V 70 servicing, I live in Wellingborough Northants. I wont use Bells in Northampton, I believe they charge £62 per hour labour charges, its not on. anyone got info on this?

Hi,
Take it to Sheffield and Meredith in Leicester. They are a Volvo specialist and very reasonable. My 48000 service on my S60R was £145 which included the handbrake shoes which were changed. Volvo quoted me £375 for the same job. There No is 0116 247 0344. They can do you a car too whilst yours is in. It ain't pretty but it gets you home and back again. I popped into Leicester for a bit and it was ready 3 hours later.

Just found this gem of a garage.

Just purchased a c70 1998 r reg and was a little unsure of when cam belt was changed so booked it into Independent volvo services at hitchin

Tony rang me an hour later reporting that on removal of covers etc he could see that the cam belt was very new so no point in changing.

He also changed the oil , filter , oil breather cap and petrol filter, reset the service light, and checked the car over for any faults that wanted sorting.

All together cost £140 which i consider to be a good deal.

So nice to find a good garage which you can trust
