Default Good Tyres

Hi
I have an S60 since 2001 & have been very pleased with Continental Contact Sport. Good grip in wet and dry, excellent wear characteristics but perhaps a little noisy on uneven surfaces. They retail at about £100 on web sites and even competitive dealers, which for a good quality, low profile is a good price. Highly recommended.
Regards
Iain

Tyres? Opinions? Internet forums?

You sure you want to ask the question??

In the Evo test Goodyear and Vredstein came out well. However Toyo Proxes seem to grip well and wear badly - but if they are half the price then.....................

Strange, I've had 3 pairs of Toyo Proxes on the front of my T4 and they seem to wear well and grip badly! They're certainly no match for the Michelin Pilot Sports which I have on the back, and waaaay off the Goodyear F1s I now have on the front. F1s are, I believe, the tyres that God uses in the wet.....

God needs to drive??
That's news to me!!!

Which Toyos had the bad life? T1-S? Then possibly. The T1-R, the replacement has a similar compound to the F1..
Not sure what the life is mind... Yet..

Ah, well you see, the first two pairs were indeed T1S. They were, how can I put this subtly, crap. I expected better from the T1R and was, putting it mildly, disappointed.

And yes, God drives a T4....

Default God?

I'm sure I read in the bible that big G drove a fiery chariot, in which case perhaps his turbo bearings need replacing...

Ah, but Moses rode a motorbike. "And lo, the roar of Moses' triumph could be heard throughout Israel".

Sorry, couldn't resist.
