Default 940 lpt radiator hoses

Can you get the full set of radiator hoses for 940 lpt 1995 my with air con, or will I have to get each one separate?
Engine has lost water for 3 years. Had heater matrix done, but wonder if the control valve could be leaking?
No obvious signs of a water leak.
Thanks for any info.

You can get the blue dot 88 ones as a kit, but expensive and blingy for me.

I got my hoses from Frf Volvo for my 940 LPT. Turbo hoses available as well as others. Need to do engine rear ones but look in good condition. I believe there is a water hose near the oil filter housing that gets ignored. Must check/replace mine.

They don't come in a kit from the dealers but here are the part numbers for each one:

3547147 (upper, to thermostat)
3547149 (middle, to expansion tank)
3547148 (lower, to water pump)

For 940 turbo cars with the wide radiator (with A/C).

Just to add to the above, you can also get do88 in black (and red, but I imagine that would look v. blingy!)

Do88 are truly superb quality - there are the OEM hose supplier to Koenigsegg for a reason - so while a bit pricy I would recomend as a fit and forget. When i swapped the hoses on my 940 a do88 kit wasn't that much more than buying them all individually so I went for it. Only thing to note is they are pretty thick walled vs originals so had to go up a size in hose clamps.

Now to do the same for my 960... when will i learn!!!

There are two under there, get forgotten and oily, on my 940 had a leak from up there, the hose was that bad if i poked it, it leaked so very close to total fail, and you would dump all the coolant without knowing it and boil the engine, they are cheap think under 20 quid from Volvo

Would absolutly 2nd the above!!!

Often neglected, and hence often fail with a big bill as a result.

Piece of cake to change

Check these definitely, They get very soft and supple with oil spilling over them from oil changes. There is an oil cooler nearby that's worth checking the bolt on too.

I know this is adding moe and more to a simple hose question!

But if you are doing the oil cooler hoses you may as well do the oil cooler arm o-rings. They are a few quid from volvo and another fit and forget as they will do another 20 yrs.

Reason to mention it is sods law you will do the hoses and a month later will get a drip from the cooler.

With the oil cooler hoses off the oil cooler just unbolts, as does the oil cooler extension arm (don't forget the small bolt securing it about half way along)

That's what killed my last engine!
