Try moving the bars an inch or two backwards and forwards then test drive to fine tune, the roofbox can usually be adjusted to suit by it having sliding mounts or if its just plain "U" clamps by drilling more holes, it can make a huge difference to the wind noise.

Hope it helps

Cheers, I've actually yet to fit the box (rear opening), just wanted to check all was ok with the bars. It'll be used soon & I am sure I'll need to adjust the bars anyway, maybe towards the rear...to enable me to access the lock !

One bar does seem to fit a bit better than the other (i.e trims etc more uniform)...maybe it's the less well fitted one that is making the noise.

Probably a bit late now, but I have the curved Volvo Aero bars fitted to an Atera roofbox with the Atera T bar adapters, all fits fine (although not drivin it anywhere yet!)
