I've been reading your thread and was wondering would it be possible if you would have a fully configured "turn-key" option that would be compatible with a 2011 v60 d3 and a 2017 v90 d4? The v60 in particular has had some errors of late and it would be helpful to see what they are. If you are using w7 vm how-to guide I would be interested in that also.

I have a 2009 C70 D5 which has been chipped. I would like a Dice/Vida setup for it. I'm not very computer literate & have a laptop running Windows 10 & an IPad.
What would be the advantage/disadvantage of a "turn-key" system please?

Hi Paul.
The advantage is that it's already set up so needs no computer literacy to switch it on, open the program and plug the tool into your car.
The "disadvantage" is a higher up front cost but it's not dead money as you sell it on when you're done and recoup most if not all of your investment.
There will always be a demand for laptops which are already set up with the best software available for Volvos.
