Dave, I agree, which is what I said back on post 42, before Simon started on his usual campaign to disagree with any post I make.

So, i'll check the VNT with Vida and see if it plays up. Previous test with a Mity gauge showed it moving freely, but as it seems temperature is key maybe it was too hot to play up, I can't remember.

As i have another turbo that has done 80k less miles i'll probably clean that one up and swap them over at the weekend, only cost is a few gaskets.

If you honestly think I make time to suggest solutions to your problem in order for you to make childish comments in return, you're deluded.

Change your fuel filter, grow up and learn how your car works then you won't need to suffer my responses.
Tut.

You can see that both the MAP reading and VNT flat-line long before maximum rpm is reached, and then it goes into limp.
This is quite different from the previous graph when all is well, and they climb gradually, and rpm reached 4389.
(Added un-edited graph also to show peak values).
Max boost is at 3500 in the ecu for the turbo control map
And then boost is reduced until 4500rpm,

I know.
So you think that because it was changed 2 months ago, it can now be ignored and eliminated?
Great logic.

Still no fuel correction test either, even though it takes 1 minute.
Lots of graphs though.

Yes, as it was the first thing I did to tackle this fault, and no improvement, so highly unlikely there is anything wrong with it. Regardless, if it was blocked, i'd not get times when it works fine after the first few limp issues + resets.

I don't recall that as an option. Looking at your post here: https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=246312 isn't that a Euro 4 option?
Mine is a 2004 Euro 3, same as yours.

If that's your logic, I give up.

No..... I have a 2002 Euro 3. We do not have the same.
If the test wasn't available for your car, I wouldn't have suggested it so if a post I made in 2016 is your logic for ignoring my multiple suggestions in 2018 for the fuel correction test, I give up.

You clearly have an answer for everything so you'll also know how to fix your car.

I don't see the option under 'Activations' or 'Advanced' (or under any other module).

If I correct you and lead you through it, you'd probably accuse me of deliberately disagreeing with you again so I'll leave you to it.

I'm sure someone more agreeable will be along shortly.
