The TCV works . But some moron had placed the pipes in the wrong order . Must of bean colour blind lol . It’s made a very small difference seems more responsive . But I rally think it’s running lean my long term fuel trim bank1 is -3.1% and my long term fuel trim bank 3 is 6.2%

There are posts on here where long term fuel trim issues have turned out to be MAF related. - Might be worth giving it a good dose of MAF cleaner.

Just a bit of a update .

Decided to buy a new maf sensor last week Now my long term fuel trim bank 1 is a lot different now . It’s gone from -3.1 to -13.3 from what I can research But find mixed results is that my car is now running rich with a - long term fuel trim and lean with a + long term fuel trim . Am I right in thinking that ?
Also am I right in thinking that the long term fuel trim should be almost at 0 as that indicates the best optimal running condition

Hi.
Hope the MAF was an OEM part . Anything else just doesn`t work properly.
Had the MAF failed ? A good indicator is that the cruise control keeps dropping out as well as high long term fuel trim.
The usual course of action regarding long term fuel trim (rich) is to look for induction leaks, then to clean the throttle body. Finally to clean and check for leaks the crankcase ventilation and small pipe from the inlet manifold back to the turbo inlet.
These engines are a brilliant piece of kit. They just get bunged up.
Not sure about your readings but yes, the long term fuel trim should be low.

Hey Volvoboy yes it was a genuine bosh maf sensor made no difference to my fuel trim values . It was indeed the turbo control valve causing my power issues changed that and it went away.

I now have a different problem lol
If I just cruse along for a while say 10 miles then floor it I get a big puff of blue smoke then it stops if i boot it again nothing it’s as if the oil is being collected somewhere then sucked up on high boost . My PCV is vented to atmosphere so no oil being sucked into through the intake pipe but I get a slight amount of oil in boost pipe from turbo . Original turbo 240k not a problem to rebuild turbo .

So I’m wondering if maybe oil is being collected in the oil trap or the inlet manifold some how. and then all the oil is sucked into the engine . . I have no blue smoke on start up or on overrun going down a large hill in gear so I rally don’t think it’s valve steam seals

Anyone any ideas

It is indeed the turbo and it’s collecting in the intercooler. Turbo rebuild coming up
