Exclamation Fault Codes Popping up all in one go

Few days back while driving my 2007 XC 90 D5 185BHP RHD the car got jerky and the gear got stuck in 3. After switching off the car moved in D and then when accelerated shifts to 3 and remains there. The triptronic shifter cannot move the gear up and down. again when the car is turned off and turned on it moves to D.

Assuming Moisture because I am on the coastline of Mumbai and the humidity was really high these were the steps I took:

Opening up the ECM, Cleaning with Contact Cleaner and Drying it up.
Just Keeping the TCM in the Sun for Drying without opening it
Cleaning the CEM for corrosion and drying it
Charging the battery once- Battery is Good
Cleaning the fuses in the main fuse box
Cleaning all body earths
checking the continuity of the wiring sockets to the modules.

but still the issue persists and these are the fault codes that pop up:

SAS-E010 Control Module. Voltage too low
ABS-0101 Communication between control modules. communication problems with ECM
ECM-1880 Swirl Actuator control. Faulty Signal
ECM-23C0 Injector cal 3. Signal missing
ECM-928C Cruise Control. Faulty Signal
ECM-44B0 EGR Position Sensor. Faulty Signal
ECM-135F Mass Air Flow(MAF) sensor
ECM-6663/6665 Glow Relay Control
ECM-5720 Communication TCM. Faulty Signal
TCM-E010 Power Supply Faulty Voltage
TCM-0A31 Control Module Communication. Signal Missing from ECM

All this has been really painful.

Anysort of help is highly appreciated.

If you are certain that the battery is in good condition (just taking and holding a charge overnight isn't a measure of that, you need to test cranking voltage and system voltage when running), then I would suspect that the ECM has failed.

It is well known that the control systems in these vehicles are sensitive to system voltage and will log all manner of spurious fault codes if the bus voltage is not within specification e.g. failing battery. You must be 100% that the battery, alternator and charging circuits are within normal spec, before assuming anything else.

Having said that, the shear number and nature of messages from the ECM module suggests to me that it is damaged.

As said above, a low system voltage manifests itself in lots of spurious error messages, but this usually starts with "Anti-Skid Service required" on the dash.

I would check in order:

Battery, condition, age, voltage etc.

Alternator, a) is it charging correctly (i.e. 14.somthing volts with engine running) b) is the overrun pulley working ok - this can intermittently lead to it nor charging during a run.

It would be useful if you could wire a multimeter to the fag lighter socket or similar to check the system voltage whilst driving? You have two clear messages in that collection that point to low voltage from two separate modules.

For the gear selector, there is a yellow plastic piece that may break https://volvoforums.com/forum/volvo-...y-drive-65100/

Hi Friends. The problem has been solved. Cleaned all the connector and grounds. Also the fuses near the battery area.

did the actuation test of solenoids. Did required adaptations available with the scanner for the TCM. Reset the tranny Oil Change setting.

Still there is faulty signal error to TCM but the car runs fine.

You need a wiring diagram to see if there is a common link between some of these faults. Could be a fusebox issue, battery issue, wiring, bad earth or ECM. Earth faults can cause all sorts of problems....maybe an earth near the main fuse box.
