Default Front fog light

Hi chaps,

I was testing my lights earlier & noticed that one of the front fog lights is blown (driver’s side). I’ve had a look & can see a plastic cover that seems to be part of the front bumper surrounding the bulb assembly, but it looks like it can be removed. One of the parking sensors is built onto/is part of this cover though.

Is it a case of carefully removing the cover surrounding the bulb, or can bulb replacement only be done from underneath the car?

My car is a P3 S80 (2007). I’ve had a look on YouTube, but most of the videos are from P2 models. There’s some videos of newer models, but they seem to offer varied instruction.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

You could, carefully, remove the plastic cover but you might break it or one of the retaining clips.

Easier from underneath. The bulb twists to remove, then carefully pull the connector off.

Des. . .

Admittedly, I didn’t & wasn’t aware that there was removal & replacement guides! I knew you could get part numbers & read fault codes etc. Handy to know this, thanks.
