Thumbs down R-design Driver seat wear and tear

Hello there. How's it going? Hope fine.

Yesterday i just noticed something... my driver seat attrition.

How can this happen? My car hasn't done yet 1 year so far. I have so much careful with my car and it's a little bit frustrating to see this.

Anyone with the same problem? If yes please leave comment. Thanks in advance

A common problem with the R design seats, many have commented on this before. One of the things that put me off the R design,

Not noticed anything on mine yet (although only at 20k miles).

Floor mats though - that's another story, already on a second set of Volvo ones. They are very poor quality and very thin. I'd be very peev'd if I'd paid over £100 for a set. My previous BMW ones lasted 4 years!

I have yet to see a single complain on premature wear of RD seats.. I think nu11eaf is confusing Inscription for RD..

Nearly 2 years and 45K kms and mine are as good as new.

VOLVOL0VER, what exactly do you mean by "wear and tear"? RD seats are part nappa, part alcantara suede, and on nappa (which is super fine and soft by design..) but also on plain-jane standard cowhide, it's normal to see creases over time. Is the leather peeling/wearing? This is what I've seen happening on some early inscription seats.

No I am not confusing RD with Inscription, there were several complaints about the side supports being badly scuffed.

Usually if a photo will not upload its because photo file size is too large, reduce photo by 50% and it should upload

The photo needs to hosted elsewhere and a link inserted into your post, you cannot upload straight from your device.

My R-Design driver's seat is beginning to look worn, but I have an older platform model
