Can you help me diagnose an oil leak on my diesel C30 (2010)
Hi All,
I have a much loved 2010 C30 with the Diesel 1.6 engine. She's just done 174K miles, but recently has developed an oil leak that's running from the valve cover down (see photo). It appears to be wet with engine oil on top of the valve cover on the top of the engine. Does anyone have any experience of this? Photo: |

hopefully its uploaded this time The red arrows show where the oil is present, and I'd estimate that there area several 'drips' of oil per day Last edited by brantfordwarner; Feb 16th, 2023 at 08:59. |

Did you resolve this, first two arrows on the top point towards the injectors? this could be that they need new washers and cleaning..find on the youtube how to do it for 1.6hdi engine, others I amnot sure, the oil filter is below one of the arrows, also pcv valve is before one of the hose that sends back to turbo... hope this helps!
