Default 19" Alloy Wheel Option

Hi guys,

I'm currently looking at a T5 R-Design, with the 19" wheel option.

I've had 18" and 19" wheels in the past, and know it gives harsher ride, but I think they look better, and also, I'm a little fed up of seeing the same R-Design wheel used accross each model range - pretty much the same wheel for V40, V60, S60, V70 & XC90 - although I know Volvo isn't the only one doing this.

That's why the 19" appeals - it is a little rare on the roads (although probably for good reason), and makes the car stand out more.

I just wondered if anyone had any experiences of this wheel option?

Many thanks.

I have 19" wheels on my D4 R Design and the only plus is the looks. Road noise is awful, wheel rim slightly wider than tyre, so easy to kerb and grip in snow/ice is non existent (may be ok on T5 AWD).
